A referral is helpful and is required for some investigations, but you are welcome to contact us first. Our team will advise what is needed and help arrange a referral if necessary.
Preparation depends on the investigation. Some scans need fasting or a full bladder, others need nothing at all. We share clear, simple instructions when you book and are always happy to answer questions beforehand.
Most reports are ready within 4 hours of your scan. Reports are shared digitally and on paper, and your radiologist is available to explain the findings.
Ultrasound uses no radiation at all. CT and X-ray use carefully controlled protocols designed for a low radiation dose, and we take extra care with children and during pregnancy. We only image when it is clinically helpful.
Yes. We provide digital copies of both your images and your report, so you and your doctor can access them easily and share them when needed. Physical reports can be collected from the centre.
